Education, clear water, full belly…
Many African kids have none of them. You can change this.

African Days event, 2015

On September 11-13 we participated the African Days event as exhibitors, organized in the Millenáris Park, Budapest. It has become a tradition that NGOs and enterprises who work on projects in Africa may introduce themselves at the co-event of the Language Parade. As we already attended last year’s event we returned as friends to this year’s program, held at the first floor of building D.

20150911_143355 s_GFLike last year, our stand was decorated with African jewelry, small articles for personal use from Kenya and we informed visitors on our activities, the symbolic adoption program and our planned projects. On Sunday around noon Móni (who were just preparing for her next longer visit to Kenya where since she arrived) gave a presentation on our efforts with the use of own photographs.

During the three days many guest stopped at our stand. Some were interested in our programs – in particular in symbolic adoption – others were picking items from our jewelry selection (that we finally gave to those who gave donations during the event), someone collected information for his PhD and there were others with whom we discussed our potential future cooperation. During the event we raised a total of 6.000 HUF – for which we are very grateful. We do hope that all who stopped to inquiry will soon contact us so that we can support more and more children.

We thank for the organizers for the opportunity to be there and we also thank the visitors for their questions and interest in our efforts. We had a great time and hope that next year we will be there again. 🙂
